A fourth generation artist, Milo Abrams-Hickman hales from a family of professional artists and musicians. Abstract art with Sharpie markers is his passion and has been from an early age. The play of color, shape and pattern in his drawings is bright and inspiring.
A senior at Coronado High School in Colorado Springs, Milo has taken several art classes offered at Coronado but is mostly self taught. Digital photography is another of Milo's passions. Having started digital photography in his junior year with a basic point and shoot camera, Milo has progressed to a Canon EOS Rebel T3i Digital SLR Camera and enjoyed taking Honors Advanced Digital Photography last fall.
In March of 2013, Milo started his own clothing company, Freshed Out Clothing Company (F.O.C.C.), and is in the process of releasing yet another new line of clothing designs. Enjoying collaborative artistic success with other artists online, Milo's art has been printed on socks by CustomElites.com, and worn by rapper, Trinidad James, in a performance video. At present, Milo is co-creating a custom, hand painted pair of Jordon X sneakers with L.A. artist and rapper, John Born. The two plan on auctioning off the finished sneakers for charity.
Milo will attend Metropolitan State University of Denver in the fall of 2014 and wants to major in art, fashion, design, business, marketing and entrepreneuring through Metro's Individualized Degree Program. Milo's art can be seen at MiloLeeDesigns.weebly.com. Look for Milo's clothes at FreshedOutClothing.bigcartel.com, and check out his sneaker, fashion and art blog at Flamed Up Kicks on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
